You gotta hand it to Karl Lagerfeld. Not only did the 73-year-old
legendary fashion designer display the willpower to drop more than 90
pounds—roughly 1.5 times the total weight of the average runway
model—but his sense of style is an inspiration to us all.
Just look at him as he drops by the Waverly Inn in New York for a late dinner with his entourage. Who else could rock an ensemble that includes a bow tie, fingerless leather gloves and sunglasses in the dead of night like he does? Especially when most men his age have moved on to plaid shorts pulled up to the navel, black socks and flip-flops.
We don't even care that he's hanging out with a guy who looks like the illicit spawn of Da Ali G Show's Bruno and an Oompa-Loompa.
