Tatum O'Neal emerges from her Lower East side apartment in New York on Wednesday to go on a five-block walk in search of a cab.
The former Oscar winner faced photographers and TV crews answering questions about her recent drug arrest. It was "a terrible mistake," she said while walking past Seward Park where the incident occurred.
She finally flagged down a taxi with a little help from the photographers.
