Why does the media insist on perpetuating this lie about Jeff Archuleta? Are news outlets so lazy that they are content to just keep repeating a complete fabricated story reported by TMZ without checking the facts for yourself? man u archie fans need to back the f off. jeff archuleta did get banned from backstage due to constant interference and disrupting the actual rules of the show. if jeff was such a great dad, he would let his 17 yr old son tour with the rest of the group on his own without a daddy chaperone, which is not required during summer when there is no school. if jeff was such a great dad, he would get a f'ing j.o.b. and stay home and help raise his other army of kids instead of living off his son's earnings, which is exactly what a stage parent does - pimps their kid for fame and fortune and lives off their money.

wow, abusive father. youre so sure. i actually got talk to davids dad for awhile in tacoma. and he is the coolest and most down to earth person. let alone a good father. otherwise david would be nothing like he is today. this is not cool.

Get your facts straight bringthelulz. Nigel Lythgoe reported that Jeff was not banned because he broke the rules. And because David is a minor he has to have a chaperone even on tour like all the prior contestants under 18. I have had the wonderful experience of talking to him several times and he is exactly like David - soft-spoken, humble and kind.

bringthelulz - that's really idiotic. Why would the fact that it's summer make David any less 17? It's in the Idol rules that he must have a guardian with him. Duh. Jordin Sparks' mother came with her on the tour last year. Jeff isn't living off of David, he's simply making a sacrifice of his time and being away from the rest of the family.

Thanks for the great pictures. I'm an Archey and Cook fan. Some Archey fans really need to chill. It's embarrassing to the rest of us. People have their own opinion. The vindictiveness of your attacks against the owner are pretty childish in themselves. Jordin and Sanjaya did not have their parents with them on tour. I've never seen a parent so glued to their child. Before you know it the Dad will be signing autographs. Looking forward to the time he's not always there. Love the Davids. So cute. med--Yes, Jordin and Sanjaya did have their parents with them on tour; Jordin would always say how boring it was for them to have to stay with their parents, as the others went out on the town. It's the law for a minor to have a guardian, and it always has been. It seems like everyone has to have a scandal about them, even when there's nothing to pick on. For Jordin, it was her weight, and David it is his Dad. These are 2 of the best role models I have seen and they are still "attacked" by rumors. It's really upsetting, because they are 2 of the most sincere people to come out of idol!

I noticed a bad comment about David Cook and his gf, Kim. This is just as bad of slander as the Jeff Archuleta stuff. None of these stories have any basis. Some of it is jealousy and some of it is just being hateful. I am glad that the Davids back each other up against you mean-spirited individuals.

I don't know where you got your information but if you had been following this young man and his father around for the past few months like many of us you would realize you are mistaken. David Archuleta is a very bright, happy, kind, spiritual, considerate, thoughtful young man, and his father Jeff Archuleta is just like him. They are both very good people and if you want to make money from your work then do your homework and tell the truth. Even guitar toten David Cook will tell you, and has more than once, that Jeff is a good man, treats his son and other idols with kindness. Sorry you just don't get it but that is okay, there is still time.

Hey, I'm a guy and I don't even like Caldwell. She is plastic, and loves the spotlight. I also don't think the women are jealous of her at all, I just think his fans feels he can do better than her. She is not very smart, she is white trailer trash, her voice is annoying and she chain smokes on top of being a whore. I've read several reports about her sleeping around, losing her virginity at like 15. I think she is using Cook.
