Look who we spotted at LAX today!  George Takei (Star Trek's Mr. Sulu) and his partner of 21 years Brad Altman flashed our lenses their big smiles.  And they've plenty of reason to be happy:

George and Brad recently announced that they will be marrying on September 14th!

We want to know if Brad sees a dermatologist and, if so, who.  That fella's skin looks perfie!

Suri got a sitter.

Last night, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got a little alone time (until fans and photogs spotted them).  Under the watchful eye of a bodyguard, the patient pair caught a showing of South Pacific currently playing at the Lincoln Center Theater on Broadway.  After the show, the two graciously signed several autographs for fans.

Katie, who will soon be making her own debut on Broadway in All My Sons, has sure been catching several shows on the Great White Way (see here and here).

Tom looked oddly... sweaty as they were leaving the building.  We wonder what's up.  Maybe he couldn't find his lifts.  We joke, you crazy kids.

The mega powerful and married (as far as we know) Nigel Lythgoe and (we presume) gold-digging Sophie Monk arrive at Burbank Airport from Las Vegas.

This gets juicy...

The Australian actress and ex of Benji Madden (Paris Hilton's current affair) as well as dater of Ryan Seacrest flew Saturday around noon to Las Vegas, our sources tell us. Ms. Monk was then whisked by car to Henderson, Nevada. Nigel was already there, we are told.

You see, Nigel isn't just the host of So You Think You Can Dance, he is also an executive producer on American Idol. Is he taking a stab at coworker Seacrest's slopping seconds? Pushing 60, Lythgoe is old enough to be 28-year-old Sophie's dad grandpa!

The odd couple arranged a limousine to take them both to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas that night, we are told, and flew, still together the following evening, on South Western number 3317 into Burbank.

Nigel was poker-faced. And as far as we know, he is still married to his wife 33 years Bonnie Lythgoe. The couple has two sons and even a grandson.

What's most disappointing about the seeming scandal is that the Sin City marketing campaign has been proven absolutely false: What happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas.

That's right, kids: Charlize Theron and her main man Stuart Townsend have come up with a dance that is bound to rival the African Anteater (as depicted in 1987's Can't Buy Me Love starring a young Patrick Dempsy. Yes, ladies, he was not always "Mc Dreamy.")

The two became very shy on a Los Angeles sidewalk as they decided to shield one another in a form of art so high, it flew right over my head. The human celebrity sculptures proceeded to evade cameras, employing strange tactics such as hiding behind Charlize's massive purse.

It's not working, Charlize. We saw you!

One of our favorite responsible British citizens Peaches Geldof married her whiskey-swillin' American sweetheart Max Drummey at A Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, recently.

And we captured just what she has to look forward to...

Drummey's band Chester French played a show at the West Coast headquarters of all things hipster—Spaceland in Silver Lake—on Thursday night.

During the show, Drummey took some swigs of Jack and continued to rawk out like a bad ass.

His carrot-topped cohort in red slacks is D.A. Wallach (not that we care).

Peaches, we hear you are already tired of Drummey's antics and talking to your old flame Faris Rotter (what a name!). I suppose the drama will never cease.

We spotted the Hills starlet with her new Australian boyfriend, BMX biker Corey Bohan, at Sushi Roku in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The couple couldn't avoid photographers in spite their rear-door exit. Judging from their tres cool ensembles (Is Bohan a walking ad for Fox, or what!?), something tells me they weren't putting up much of a fight.

All these great photos from last night's L.A. premiere of Tropic Thunder have us jonesing to dish.  So, stick with us.  It'll be long... but it'll be fun (that's what he said).

So that's where Katie Holmes was helicoptering off to.  She and hubby Tom Cruise lit up the red rug.  See above image:  Now they have matching hairstyles and laughs.  Doesn't it look like the whole place was lit specifically to flatter them and their outfits?  Magical.

Robert Downey Jr. showed up with his lovely wife Susan (she's just so likable) and his mystery-solving mustache in tact.

Jack Black done gone and out-Panda'ed himself.  That is to say he did even more crazy poses than ever before, this time, with his cute as a button wife Tanya Haden.  We appreciate Jack's incorporating the film's title into his outfit.

Nigel Lythgoe (we love SYTYCD) and his doppleganger son Simon crack us up.

In case we haven't told you recently, we love Amy Adams.  No, we LOVE Amy Adams.  Got it?  Good.  Be sure to check out her fancy heels.

Maria Menounos apparently stole your mom's 1960's prom wig.  In case she goes looking for it, now you know who's door to knock on...

Jena Malone has a striking new haircut and those trendy Daria-esque boots we saw on Lohan.  She held hands with her The Ruins co-star Laura Ramsey.  Ramsey's outfit might be our favorite!  Blame the teal shoes...

Steve Coogan apparently aged 50 years in the last 2.  We guess that happens when one cavorts with Courtney Love.

To speed things up:  Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor?  Totally gorg'!!  Anya Monzikova?   Really pretty, even if her dress is what Belle would wear in Vegas.  Alicia Silverstone and husband Christopher Jarecki?  Hi there.  Nice to see you alive.  More blonde, less dirty, please.

Anyhoo...  The cow-clad duo left newborn daughter Sunday Rose behind and took in a movie together in Sydney, Australia.  Date night!

Camila Alves, we are in awe.  It defies reason that you can look so smokin' hot so soon after giving birth to little Levi McConaughey.  Astounding.

On Friday night, Matthew McConaughey's handbag-designing lady debuted her line MUXO at Kitson in Los Angeles.  Matt and baby Levi were present to lend their support.

Others on hand included Ed Hardy designer (sigh) Christian Audigier with wife Ira, Brittany Daniel, Samantha Harris, Terri Seymour, Jake Weber, and Elizabeth Carey.

We think Camila's bags are pretty cool.  Definitely unique.  What do you think?

She seems like a sweetheart and, after the chaos she's had to endure this past year, certainly deserves some lovin'.

Now that she's an adult millionaire, Emma Watson can do whatever she wants. This includes dating young Italian actor Roberto Agnillera (whom she met at a Cartier Polo event last month).

We spotted the cutie-pie couple leaving Sway Bar in London on Wednesday walking a few paces away from each other, as to not call attention to their budding romance.

He carried the Harry Potter star's bags for her as they made their way out of the bar. How sweet!

Could Emma be turning into a little diva? And if so, could we really blame her?
